The MaxiSys MS909 is the entry level tool in the Ultra range it features a 10-inch touchscreen tablet with Android 7.0 OS powered by an Octa-core processor (2.3GHz Quad + 1.7GHz Quad), substantial 128GB built-in memory to provide diagnostic guidance and test components to confirm repairs. The MS909 features the new MaxiFlash VCI, a combination VCI and vehicle communication tool providing faster dual Wi-Fi vehicle and network communications. The MS909 features front and rear cameras and a rechargeable Lithium battery providing 8 hours of continuous use to ensure you always have the power to scan.
The MS909 does not include multi-purpose VCMI like with the 919 and Ultra, but instead is supplied with our standard MaxiFlash VCI with Enhanced Protocol Compatability, which supports D-PDU, RP1210, CANFD. J2534 and DoIP protocols.
The MS909 combines diagnostics, service, extensive live data, channel coding, and ECU reflashing. The MS909 also has further programming options directly within the tool software itself (focusing on BMW and Mercedes). In addition, the MS909 has all new software specialist capabilities that we have named Repair Assist, DTC Analysis, Topology Mapping, and Relevant Cases.
System Topology - With our Autel exclusive System Topology Software, the technician can see a colour coded topology display for all vehicle systems and their status on one page!
The display shows the structure of communication between modules, and gives the ability to press on a system module to display any DTC's and access the system.

Repair Assistant - Our Repair Assist Software displays a list of recommended tests, the completion status and priority for undertaking. Very simply, the higher the priority, the earlier the components should be tested.
Prioritisation - The best solution path is given in priority via automatic sorting.
Guided Maintenance - An integrated troubleshooting process organised into the operation steps, that guide the user to solve the maintenance problems.
Accurate recommendation - Automatically match the circuit diagram and pin position required for the fault.
In the case of multiple inspection steps, you can carry out the inspection step by step, or skip unnecessary steps.

Relevant Cases - The software automatically recommends repair processes that may be relevant to the vehicle and fault. These repair cases/suggestions provide the technician with great insight when diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults.
Tech Services Bulletins - See official announcements issued by vehicle manufacturers regarding common problems including vehicle modules, DTCs, repair methods, program updates and recall stategies. DTC Analysis - The DTC Analysis decribes possible causes and solutions for vehicle faults. Currently available on GM, Ford, Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, Honda, VW, Audi, BMW, FCA, Mercedes.
I previously had the Autel MS908S Pro from Alex at Impact Diagnostics. I recently changed this to the new MS 909, again from Alex. The older tool got me set off on my own, with my new business. It was absolutely faultless, and Alex’s support likewise. So I had no hesitation in buying the new Autel from him also. I wanted the MS909 for a few different reasons, and thought that would be about it. However, it showed itself to have way more extras than I anticipated! Very soon after taking delivery of the tool, I had a job to do on a very recent BMW X2. The car in question had an AdBlue system fault. The fault code set, came with a description, and then in another menu. A test plan, built into the tool. With some tests and checks, that the tool could do, and also some deeper information on what the fault code referred to etc. On opening up a menu in this section, it came up with the genuine manufacturer wiring diagram. For the AdBlue tank module, with connector assignments, wire colours, pins etc! This was not something I expected from the tool, and saved me all kinds of hassle. Ordinarily I would have had to make a return to that job (I’m mobile). That’s after an information request having to be sent into a data supplier I subscribe to. Printing out said documents, and so on. Instead the vehicle was diagnosed and proven what the repair would be. Right at the time I first assessed the issue. A really strong tool, and absolutely my “first out the box” option on any job. As mentioned, I have a number of tools and equipment through Alex at Impact. He is my first port of call in almost all instances. He comes highly recommended by me!
